Part of the Savoring Series, which is one of my favorite series of books about Regional Cuisine, Savoring Tuscany is a beautiful book filled with sumptuous recipes and delectable writing about the cuisine and culture of Tuscany. As with all the books in the series, Savoring Tuscany is put together beautifully and all of the recipes are well written and presented. The recipes that we tested were all superb and the book is an excellent source for fans of Tuscan cuisine.

For every region we spotlight we try to find local experts to tell us about the food and the region and hopefully share some of their favorite recipes. While some recipes will require specialized ingredients and long preparation times, we do always try to offer recipes that more suited to today's lifestyle - little active preparation time, easy to find and relatively inexpensive ingredients, and healthy for your family.
We try to focus on a new region every few weeks and dig deep into each region. Because of that areas we have not touched yet look a little sparse in comparison to other areas. If you have a recipe to share from our current region - or from any other region, please submit it!
We have just moved and are in the process of a major site redesign and are planning on adding over 500 new regional recipes once our move is completed - plus a great selection of articles, reviews, interviews, and more!
